Norwich Private GP Service

Dr Nnene is a conscientious medical practitioner who gives top priority to his patients welfare. He has considerable experience of delivering patient centred medical care and brings his caring approach with empathy to every patient episode. During each consultation he will always attempt to identify the main cause of the problem as well establishing the impact of the problem on the patients well-being and wider implications on issues like work and family.

Dr Nnene will always discuss options for management of the patients problem which may include no new intervention, investigations, new treatment (medications or other therapy) or referral to a specialist.

Dr Nnene will gladly provide an opinion on investigations or treatment so far received and discuss options for consideration by the patient.

After each clinic attendance, Dr Nnene will send to the patient a written summary of the consultation including management plans which may be shared with the patients NHS GP or any other health professional or relative.

The Norwich Private GP service provided by Dr Ike Nnene has arisen to meet the existing need amongst the population in Norfolk to have access to quality and responsive primary medical care. The service complements existing NHS provision. Patients who avail themselves of the Private GP service are still entitled and encouraged to remain registered with their NHS GP.

About Dr Ike Nnene

Dr Ike Nnene was born and spent his early years in the North of England. He discovered early in his life his passion for helping people. This informed the decision to seek a pursue a career as medical doctor. He graduated from the School of Medicine , University of Benin, Nigeria in 1990.

Dr Nnene worked for  some years in the field of Obstetrics and Gynaecology with positions in hospitals in London, Hertfordshire, Essex, Liverpool and Cumbria. He is a Member of The Royal College of Obstetricians & Gynaecologists. He undertook the North London General Practice Vocational Training Scheme in 2003 which provided extra experience in General & Elderly Care Medicine, Paediatrics, Psychiatry and Emergency Medicine. He attained Membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners and has practised as GP since 2006 in practices in London and the East of England.

Dr Ike Nnene is married and has two children, a son and a daughter. He is a practising Christian.  He is a singer songwriter and worship leader at his local church in Norwich. He engages in marriage coaching and teaches personal development.
